I concur. App icon says "installing" but after several days it says the same. Unable to delete it or reinstall.

You tell me to download the older App. I do that.....then you prompt me to upgrade, which my updated IPhone 4 wont allow me to do. ???

The inflight message said to use this app to access the inflight entertainment but I see nothing entertaining about this useless App. And let me choose a user ID so I dont have to remember a random 9 digit number which I could not copy and paste from my email. Lame.

iOS 7 is not that old, it should work.

New update is terrible! Cant check any flights or rates

I had the same issue where the app wouldnt update until I restarted my device and then the download started again. Ive had this problem with other apps before too. I recommend restarting device and hopefully will work for you too. After that the Westjet app had all my trips

The app works ok but the iPad/iPhone cannot output a high enough volume to hear the movies. You will require noise cancelling headphones.

Westjet has really stepped up their game. The newest update allowing you to sign in with your Westjet ID pretty much eliminates the need for me to use the website except for vouchers. Everything is nicely synced and easy to use. Very handy and a worthwhile app if you travel often.

I go to install app, it says new version not supported but theres an old version, I install old version but all it does is prompt to install new version, which then complains it cant be installed. Just not worth slowing my iPhone 4S to a crawl by installing iOS 8, or worse, iOS 9

I get to watch some of the newest movies while I fly! Gonna fly home in 1 hour and I know what I am using.

Seems to do a number of things alright, but fails at the critical task of putting your boarding pass on your phone. Looks nice though

Unable to add bookings or even retrieve password.

Its very bad what kind of plane is this its not updated its down graded and bad I dont recommend engine to travel with weaker I am very upset dont even have entertainment

This is the second time we have been stuck on west jet flight without tvs!!! We dont own iPad and even if we did what a pain. Id like to just get on a plane with my headphones. Not have to fuss about getting an app for my phone. Plus who wants to watch a movie on a 2" x 4" screen!? Horrible idea

Have tried to use the app in multiple westjet flights. Will let me navigate to the movies, but when I try to watch one, there is just a big play button over the video but nothing happens when you touch it. Have seen the app work for others. Not sure why it isnt working on my device.

Hmm, a really odd update. Inside the app, theres almost zero Westjet branding. On most pages, they havent even included the name "Westjet" or so much as a tiny logo. Other than the link to the Connect in-flight entertainment system, the entire app now kind of looks like some generic, no-name travel booking app. Looking at most pages, youd have no idea that its Westjet! And its equally odd that the Rewards page is now totally buried in the other menu. For a while, Westjet really seemed to be focusing on growing and leveraging Rewards ... but its now virtually hidden in the app! The app seems to work fine, but the messaging, branding and visual identity has gone a big ... weird.

Since update the icon is grey and it wont complete the update. Need it for my next flight!!

so just andriod and iphone and ipad, what so some people with laptops ie the macbook pro get nothing?

This app has definitely been improved, but still has some issues. Common workflows still need to be streamlined - feels like there are still far too many clicks needed during check-in, especially around adding a boarding pass. I wish the app would remember my name. It doesnt change between check-ins. Just small details like these that continue to make this a bit more frustrating to use than needs be.
